LaDell's One Year Anniversary

Yes. That's right. LaDell's Shoes will be celebrating one year since opening its' doors on October 31, 2009.

It has not been easy, but anything worth having never is. I can truly say that it has been a blessing! The response to LaDell's Shoes has exceeded many of my expectations. Additions with no subtractions sums up what the first year has brought.

Look for LaDell's Shoes to continue to offer unique, affordable and (down right) sexy shoes! Look for unique colors and styles that separate and divide from the rest.

LaDell's is changing the game and stepping up to the plate.

From Crawling to Walking

Well...LaDell's Shoes is half way through the first year since opening in October 2009.
First( and foremost) I want to give thanks to God; My Father, My King!
Second, to my Family, who have been very patient.
Third, to you, my customers. Couldn't do it without you.

It's hasn't been easy. Alot of personal sacrifices, but it's what I have a passion to do. My returns go way beyond financial gains. I can't say it enough. I have met some of the most beautiful men and women! I wouldn't trade it for the World.

LaDell's growth can be compared to the infants transition from crawling to walking. Walking is a little wobbly at first, but as time go on, the Toddler is off and running! While not off and running yet, LaDell's is definitely out of the crawling stage. Look for more exciting things to happen as we head towards that one year mark.

Yes, we will have a 1 year celebration and plan activities throughout the month of October 2010.

Picking The Right Handbag

At LaDell's you will find a wide variety of different handbags ranging from really small to really big! Choosing the right handbag goes far beyond storing all of the items women can't leave home without. When selecting a handbag, your outfit is not the only thing that you must consider. Handbags should be selected to enhance and compliment your body type as well.

Which type of purse should you go with? Going with the principle on size when choosing handbags, if you are short with only a slight figure, you should go for a handbag that is small and is something that you can hold close to your body. Never ever buy a big purse because you will drown in it. Holding a big purse if your body is small would make you look as if the purse is carrying you, and not the other way around.

If you are the tall and lanky type, with not much on you in terms of curves, your challenge is to create the illusion of having a curvy figure and to hide the straight leanness of your body. You can achieve this by wearing a purse that is medium-sized and with a long shoulder strap that will allow you to hold the purse close to your waist. Holding the purse against the waist will make you seem that you have a slender waist that gently slopes to your hips.

Now, if your hips are wide and heavy, the handbag you need is something that will draw the eyes away from your hips and lower body. The perfect handbag for you is something with a shoulder strap that will allow the handbag to hang just above your hips. In this way, anyone who looks at you will have his or her eyes drawn to your upper body, rather than to your hips.

Girls with top-heavy figures, on the other hand, would want to call attention away from their upper bodies. If your figure is top-heavy, the handbag that you need is something that has long straps, something that you can hold close to your hips. Remember to get a large purse to balance out your top-heavy body.

Never ever use a small handbag if you have a plus size figure. As we said above, toting a small purse will only call attention to your size. Always go for a wide handbag that will lend a balanced look to your figure.

If you have the perfect hourglass figure, with your bust line in proportion to your hips and with a definite waist, you are to be envied. You can lug along just about any type of purse or handbag there is. But then again, you should still be conscious about the way your purse balances out your figure.

Spring & Summer Is On The Way

Spring/Summer has started. I'm very excited about some of the shoes ordered and waiting for delivery! You will see bold, bodacious and beautiful! You can have it ala carte or combined with matching handbags, belts and other accessories. I browsed some of the top stores this past weekend. As predicted, most of the clothing color schemes are matched up with the LaDell's new 2010 Spring/Summer shoes!

Thanks to our old and new customer base, LaDells is rapidly growing far beyond expectations. It's catching like a wild fire! Stock come and go so fast that we are constantly getting in, either, new items or more of the same to meet the demands of LaDell's customer. Count on LaDells to be around for a while.

Spring 2010: What's Hot !

Now more than ever, women are vigilant when it comes to spending. Instead of re-inventing their wardrobe at the start of each season, consumers want pieces to complement what they already own. Pairing a bold color with a basic piece or freshening up their look with bright accents addresses the need for practicality, as well as fun.

While in Vegas, we attended a seminar presented by Pantone,the global authority on color and provider of professional color standards for the design industries. For Spring/Summer 2010 designers will bring splashes of sunshine to the runway. Vibrant brights add a sense of excitement to the color palette, while practical neutrals provide a safety net for cautious consumers. Look for bright oranges and corals worn with taupe as the background. Blue as a base for hot colors such as bright pink poppy and golden rich tangerine.

The fashion industry is very exciting and goes far beyond fabrics, wood and metal. There is something in the air when people in the industry come together. Both, Buyers and Sellers alike are dead serious about the products that are presented to the consumer. Take a look at some of the pictures from the show (above). The look on most of the faces is serious, with very few smiles found in between. Personally speaking, I take how I look serious and get a personal fulfillment from providing Ladell's customers with unique, quality and affordable fashion accessories.

Going To Las Vegas Shoe Show!

One More Day and LaDell's Shoes Is Out Of Here! Yes we're headed to Las Vegas to attend the World Shoe Association February 2010 Show. There will be vendors every where, over a thousand! Spring/Summer 2010 Shoe Collections and Color Pallets will be revealed via fashion shows and seminars. Training classes through out the day are scheduled. LaDells will not only keep you on top of your shoe game, we will make sure that our customers are well informed to make the best fashion decisions. Customer will know what's hot and not, whats in and out!

While in Vegas, LaDells will be on the prowl and dead serious about selecting and establishing business relationships with the best vendors that offer quality shoes for the right price. Without saying, LaDells Fashion Team will be searching for what everyone else is NOT!
