Never Can Say Good Bye...

I can't get the lyrics out of my head, "Never Can Say Good Bye, No No No NO, I...". Maybe it's because the lyrics truly express how I feel about this Legend, Icon and King of entertainment. I can remember back when The Jackson Five came to the Cow Palace in San Francisco. It must have been sometime in the 70's. My mom waited and could not get tickets. She decided to dress us up and ride out there anyway. When we got to the door all of the tickets were sold out. My heart was crushed. To make it worst, my cousins had tickets and were arriving as we were leaving. I don't remember a time that I cried more.

Michael is more then words could ever describe. He has stepped up and exceeded any challenges put before him. He is a true inspiration. Before his death, Michael nor the World could have known how much he impacted our lives and how much he will truly be missed. It's not goodbye, it's see you later. I can never say good bye.

Plain and Simple!

Often customers say to me, " I don't have anything that color in my closet." Or, " I love the shoe but what will I wear it with?" I realize that we are in a recession, which is why I keep my prices very reasonable (nothing over $50). I tell you, every time I hear this, my body cringe. I think to myself, " Is this person finished shopping for life? Is what they have at home all they ever plan on buying?" I can't imagine not purchasing additional clothing with the fashion runways changing even before I finish typing this blog!!!

When I hear this comment I try to explain to the customer, " It is very important that you purchase the shoe first! Especially if the shoe is comfortable and at the right price. Once you have the right shoe, you can always, and I do mean, always find the right "fit." There are far more color options with fabrics then there are with shoes- thats just a fact." I further explain that, " When you come up on an exotic and different color shoes (at the right price) you are to take it home with you- Plain and Simple!"

Final thought: I am not speaking as the owner of Ladells.Com. I am speaking as a woman who get up everyday and go to work from 9to5. Women. Listen. If you get up and go to work everyday, the least that you can do is treat yourself to a shoe that cost $40 or less without hemming and hawing over it! Plain and Simple.

No matter how you try to accessorize your wardrobe with beautiful jewelry, if the shoes are not complimenting your outfit, your just not going to bring the bang. Shoes are important, but the right shoe (color and style) is everything! Plain and Simple.
